Dear School Board,

 

My name is ___________ and I am/was a ___________ at ____________ school.  I am very frustrated with the fact that the school district chose to reduce valuable music programs K-12 for the coming school year.  Not only are our music programs an important tradition and point of pride for our city, they provide crucial arts education to children while building a sense of community and motivation for students in our public schools.  It saddens me that the district chose cut music when it clearly had other options.
